I have watched a lot of the you tube videos that Crandall has on the site I find them informative but I also find some that try to explain why you may find defects in chairs received a little bit needing improvement in the wording used.
#Steelcase coach leap office chair reviews update
I will visit this site from time to time and see if in the near future if I would like to make another purchase and update this review one more time. The reason I did not buy one was because I saw that Steelcase website also has sales and if you like the color they offer you for the sale you can get a good sale price direct from Steelcase for the chair models: the Amia, Leap, Think and Gesture chair. Ialmost bought another chair last night since they had a 15% flash sale for 2 days only and really I should give them a second chance at purchasing a chair. Example they send return labels a certain day a week only. The other part I noticed they are small buisness and they have systems in place. I added a star because a solution was reached and they made good with their promise.

It seems most people are very happy with the product they receive. It feels like my first Leap V2! I'm comfortable again! I don't feel like I wasted $1000! I'm happy. Two rubber mallets and a can of WD-40 (and an hour of pounding in a small city apartment) later and the damn thing finally released. Another overnight later and I have the third shipment from Crandall.I thought getting the seat cushion off the chair was a pain- little did I know how difficult it would be to remove a metal gas cylinder from an aluminum chair frame. I escalated the new issue to Crandall's customer service, and after providing the requested photos they determined the cylinder must be faulty. I took the chair apart several times trying to fix the issue myself, which meant I needed tools I didn't own. There was an usual wobble and the chair leaned to the right causing back pain. The replacement cylinder was faulty- it had to be. I complained and they sent a replacement overnight. I assume the packager confused the second set of wheels with the cylinder, or it was sent separately and ended up in the hands of my methy neighbor. The gas cylinder wasn't in the box when it arrived. Upon request they sent the casters with the chair, as well as the new casters they send with their sold units. The original return even had the super expensive hardwood casters (With polished aluminum to match the frame). Brand new this thing had to have cost the original owner $1500 plus, minimum. I got it fully loaded, aluminum frame, 4 way arms, Cognet: Connect fabric, etc. a company with a global reachAlthough we are still headquartered in Grand Rapids, Steelcase today is an international company with approximately 16,000 employees worldwide, manufacturing facilities in over 50 locations and more than 900 dealer locations around the world. This is my second Leap V2- the first from Crandall through their Authorized Factory Returns.
